Bringing the great sport of hockey to kids of all abilities since 1968!
Back in 1968, Mr. George Bray organized a hockey program for young people with special learning needs. The George Bray Sports Association was then started to provide a program for kids in special learning classes in elementary or secondary schools.
The GBSA is still active today, providing kids with special needs the chance to develop confidence & sense of participation through hockey. We focus on the fun of hockey, not the competition, so each player is provided equal ice time, regardless of ability.
Our league is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Coaches, referees, timekeepers and the executive team are all volunteers who freely give many hours to our organization.
Starting in September 2018, we will be playing all our games at our new home, Kinsmen Arena. Check out our game schedule, then come stop in to see our kids in action!
